I have spoken to my credit card company about a chargeback because I will not receive the service paid for.
They are asking for evidence that the hotel is no longer trading. I tried to explain (very patiently) that as the hotel was not responding to emails or telephone calls it would be virtually impossible to obtain such evidence. They even rang the hotel themselves & confirmed number unobtainable - but they are still asking for evidence!
Anyone else been successful?
