• PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WHEN ATTENDING A MONSTER MEET/RIDEOUT

    1. All riders ride at their OWN risk.
    2. The UKMOC will not be held liable for any accidents to riders/passengers/motorcycles whatsoever.
    3. You are deemed to be in control of your own motor cycle at all times
    4. Please let the ride leader know, if you are intending to 'peel off' en-route.

    ADVICE FOR THOSE LEADING RIDEOUTS

    1. Make yourself known to all persons who intend to rideout with you.
    2. We recommend the 'Drop-Off' system for group rides.
    3. Find out if everyone has ridden in a group before - if not explain any relevant info.
    4. Ensure all have enough fuel - and locate nearest garages to the meet point.
    5. Ask everybody to ride slightly 'off-set' - eg - do not directly follow the bike in front WHERE POSSIBLE. (this leaves extra braking room).
    6. HAVE FUN!

This Month's Norfolk meet will be in Suffolk!
We're heading for Thorpeness to the Meare.
There's two eateries within sight of each other one is the Meare Tearooms and the other is The Kitchen. Not sure which we will be meeting at, but you will informed before next Saturday.
We should miss most of the cyclists and Harley drivers on a Saturday and have a more peaceful time.

Saturday 9th Sept. 10am. Thorpeness Meare.

It's looking like the Kitchen as it has outdoor seating, but if it's crowded we'll go to the tearooms.
Guaranteed chaos.. :chuckle:

What a smashing meeting. Warm!
It was great to see Casey Spooner and Sapone Cremoso after quite a few years, and very pleasing to see the old magic is still there.

Thorpeness proved to be entertaining, with plenty of people watching available at no extra cost. There were the inevitable T-shirt and shorts riders and a contingent of what we assumed were The Christian Bikers. Presumably on hand to bless any bare skinned rider unfortunate enough to meet the tarmac?

The Kitchen was a friendly venue with good food and Latte, we managed to find an outside table under the shade of a Scots pine, So all very good.

It was a scorching 70 mile ride back home for me, retracing my inbound route up the b1119 from Leiston to Framlingham which I discovered for this trip. It doesn't fly straight and level for more than 3 seconds at any point, so I managed a little more chicken strip reduction. Only about a mile of trunk road used on the entire ride.

Many thanks to Sapone Cremoso for his excellent photos.

Front to back is my M900Sie less than 100 miles shy of 50000 miles now and still waiting patiently for it's major overhaul. Next DaveR's S4R, Casey Spooner's S2R, Sapone Cremoso's S4R and Dacs' M1000Sie.
Not very often you see a line of 5 old shape Monsters in a row these days. Good show chaps.
