• PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WHEN ATTENDING A MONSTER MEET/RIDEOUT

    1. All riders ride at their OWN risk.
    2. The UKMOC will not be held liable for any accidents to riders/passengers/motorcycles whatsoever.
    3. You are deemed to be in control of your own motor cycle at all times
    4. Please let the ride leader know, if you are intending to 'peel off' en-route.

    ADVICE FOR THOSE LEADING RIDEOUTS

    1. Make yourself known to all persons who intend to rideout with you.
    2. We recommend the 'Drop-Off' system for group rides.
    3. Find out if everyone has ridden in a group before - if not explain any relevant info.
    4. Ensure all have enough fuel - and locate nearest garages to the meet point.
    5. Ask everybody to ride slightly 'off-set' - eg - do not directly follow the bike in front WHERE POSSIBLE. (this leaves extra braking room).
    6. HAVE FUN!

Dacs and DaveR decided to have a meet in Essex, so the next meet of the Norfolk crowd will be in the Dedham Vale.

DaveR has booked a table at : The Boatyard, Mill Lane, Dedham. CO7 6DH.
For 10am Sunday December 10th.
Apparently it's proper posh and right by the river.

It would be great to see anyone from that area, or indeed from out of that area if you can make it. It might lead to an Essex section forming if enough folks are interested.

Don't worry about turning out on a bike, it'll probably be snowing anyway! We'll be going in the tin boxes!

A cheeky weekend bump for this in case Essex members missed it.

Well, Dave had booked some extra places at the table, as I had feedback from several parties hoping to attend.
In the end it was just Dave and I sitting at the long table.
I'm not too surprised to be honest on such a bleak December day. It soon became very grey and miserable on the way home as it started to rain.

Good to catch up with Dave again watching the cold, swollen and angry Stour try to escape it's banks. It brought back fond memories of walking the banks back in the late 70's, watching young ladies skinny dipping when it wasn't the river that was swollen and angry!

Great conversations though, with 5 motorbikes between us to talk about.

We'll have another go at some meets in this lovely area when it's a bit warmer. We're quite convinced that there are a few who would be up for it. Watch this space.
