Hi All,

Looking for the 2 hoses that go from the crankcase via the tank / bottle thing into the airbox if anyone has some for the mk1 Monster?

Thanks,

Ben

I bought a new crankcase to breather box hose a couple of years ago after the end 'fell off' mine, not unreasonably priced actually though the longer, breather box to airbox is a tad expensive.

Part nos 15 & 19 here for online ordering; https://www.bike-parts-ducati.com/d...Monster_900/Monster-900/INTAKE/661/1209/0/661

I've actually got the longer hose that I'm no longer using, unfortunately due to having no airbox I did cut the front end off it to suit the breather setup I was using and have subsequently lost the bit I cut off.

Don't suppose it's any use (if you found another half and were prepared to 'graft' them together) but you're welcome to it if it is.

Thanks - yes the long one is best part of fifty quid which seems excessive for a piece of rubber hose. I've actually got a 90 degree elbow in mine at the moment from a fish tank but the hose I found with the correct diameter was so thick (wall) when I tried it in the original space it would not work so I'll bear your kind offer in mind. Got to put the clutch back together first without any oil leaks!

Yes, before I cut mine (as I prefer not to butcher perfectly good parts) I did look at using a length of silicone hose but it was tricky as there's not much room between the tank & battery box even with the original hose, plus it needed a kink in the end to line up properly with the breather box outlet so, cutting the original worked best at the time.

I've now re-routed the engine breather to a custom box under the seat so have had a complete re-design.
