• PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WHEN ATTENDING A MONSTER MEET/RIDEOUT

    1. All riders ride at their OWN risk.
    2. The UKMOC will not be held liable for any accidents to riders/passengers/motorcycles whatsoever.
    3. You are deemed to be in control of your own motor cycle at all times
    4. Please let the ride leader know, if you are intending to 'peel off' en-route.

    ADVICE FOR THOSE LEADING RIDEOUTS

    1. Make yourself known to all persons who intend to rideout with you.
    2. We recommend the 'Drop-Off' system for group rides.
    3. Find out if everyone has ridden in a group before - if not explain any relevant info.
    4. Ensure all have enough fuel - and locate nearest garages to the meet point.
    5. Ask everybody to ride slightly 'off-set' - eg - do not directly follow the bike in front WHERE POSSIBLE. (this leaves extra braking room).
    6. HAVE FUN!

This is optional and probably only for the crazy, but a possible escape from the December apocalypse?

Lets meet at the Kingfisher Cafe at Walcott 10am on 26th December.

This is a bit of a tradition as we've done it before. Eating is usually outside as it's normally packed inside, but we might get lucky and find a table.

See you there..

Well that was nice.
A fabulous bright dry morning and frost free too. It's a shame that the Sun doesn't get very high, as it seemed to be in my face a lot of the time, to the extent that I couldn't see the gravel washes on the diesel strip and only became aware of them by the grating sound under the tyres and wiggly squirming of the bike!
I was very glad of the heated grips, but was trumped by Dacs when he entered the Café sporting a new heated Wescott (That's Norfolk for waist coat.) I have just ordered a pair of heated socks to try out. (On offer at the moment with free batteries https://www.heated-apparel.co.uk/products/essential-heated-socks )

We enjoyed a hot breakfast in the new look Kingfisher which seems to have transcended from greasy spoon level to a nice civilised establishment. We were lucky to grab a reserved table before it was required and so managed to eat in the warm.

As always it was good to catch up with Dacs and get some rather fresh air. To be honest I thought we would be on our own and didn't expect any extra company, there's a whole new year to go at now so plenty of time.

Happy new year to you all, catch up soon.. :mand:

Season's greetings from the Norfolk seaside - sorry about the picture quality, but Mr G didn't want his non-Monster to be visible, so I had to shoot into very strong sunlight. He hasn't shrunk since the Solstice, just trying to hide

I'm recovering from an operation, which , until I recover, I'm unable to drive or ride, so wasn't able to join in.
Looks like a bright breezy day on the coast.
How's the zero performing?

Nothing serious I hope? I wish you a speedy recovery.

Zero is performing like an Earthbound Starship. The Dilithium Crystals are replenishing as I type.
