696/796 Handlebar size

Hi Guys,
Can anyone confirm if the 696 and 796 have the same handlebars? I believe the 696 is 22mm (7/8”) but didn’t know if the 796 is thicker.
Also, are the bars a matt aluminium finish or chrome?

Polished, or rather chromed.

From memory ( admittedly questionable these days ) the bars on my 696 had the same finish as the ones on my current Evo….alloy presumably with a matt grey “crinkle “ type finish….. I preferred the shape and riding position they gave on which is effectively the same chassis package….they were possibly slightly narrower than the Evo.
