For sale - Ventura L rails (D028 and D023)

Two sets for sale, fitment D023 and D028. See photos, these are not mint but could easily be repainted if needed. My memory of these was that they needed some washers and spacers to fit properly (even though they are supposed to be custom for each fitment) but when fitted were incredibly useful.

L rails only but the grab handle, or luggage racks, can be added as needed.

£50 + postage for each set or collection from BR2 Bromley.

I think some of the part numbers have changed looking at the current ventura website. I've managed to dig out the instructions for the D028 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1h0R...w?usp=drivesdk

which states it fits:

Ducati Monster S2R 1000 (07), S2R (07) S4R (04-07), S4RS (2007)

I've emailed Ventura to ask about the D023 and will post what I get back from them.

FYI, I had one of these for the S4R and it did not fit my S4 frame, which is only very slightly different to the S2/4R so I don't think it will fit the earlier Monsters either (at least not without some modification).

Which fitment did you have Darren? I have two listed here, D023 and D028. I had one fitted to my S2R1000, but csnt remember which now . I found that even with the correct bars they still needed some spacing to fit properly.

According to the Ventura instructions I linked to the D028 fits but as stated... These can be a bit fiddly so I can't guarantee anything

Don't know if these are the same ones you were selling before Steevo but they are the same part number D023

Part number D018 fits the S4 according to the Ventura website so neither of the ones I have would work for that model. I think I read elsewhere that D033 superceded D023 so that makes some sense.

D028 is listed for S4R '04-'07 on this list:-

https://www.sps.no/bilder/books/Spor...tml/page7.html

Also lists S2R '06 - '07 and also Monster 800 from '05 to '07

So maybe the D023 is for the earlier S2R before '06? I wasn't aware of any differences for the years on those but who knows.

The D033 that I had was also listed for Ducati Monster S2R 1000 (07), S2R (07) S4R (04-07), S4RS(2007) here: -

https://www.nproject-jp.com/ventura/BSD033B.pdf

Talk about confusing!

Makes sense if the D028 were superceded with the D033. So I would say the D028 ones would be the best bet and should still fit the S4R. I found no mention of D023 anywhere so maybe they were superceded by the D028 to fit more model variants?

Looks like they're no use to me then (M900ie). Good luck with the sale.
