Y2K M600 keeps misfiring

BB1105 Ducati ought to do it - watch out for brand new fakes - if you are not in a hurry i could look for a couple? do you go to Box Hill/Newlands Corner much?
I don't go Box Hill much, but it's a good excuse to go! Let me know if you find them

2 in Dagenham for £75 - you could even pick them up?

the link to these is below - I have no idea why the link says "Pardon our interruption"

Meanwhile this seller has just messaged me to say he will take £60 for both! - it's the same price i would have asked, so worth considering.

When were the valves last checked for correct clearances? Out of spec valve clearances can cause difficult starting from cold.

Agree, it's hard to diagnose via text but assumed running was ok eventually bar misfire.
If it as above then first rocker clearance to disappear on an 2-valve early air-cooled is exhaust shim, and several times it's been horizontal exhaust shim first for me. Very easy to check even without a feeler gauge as long as you are happy to find TDC firing on front cylinder.

I got the bike (grumpy I call her) running by taking it to the garage. They replaced spark plugs. It runs beautifully and sounds beautiful with those exhausts. Starting it still very weak, specially if she sleeps outside. I use a little bit of choke, starts after a couple of tries, misfires (which upsets all my neighbours) and then she's ready to go and after a mile runs beautiful. Any suggestions to get her starting more strong?
