Hi, am resto-modding my old S4RS and long story short can’t fathom where these two rubber pieces came from. I’ve searched through the Ducati spare-parts schematics and can’t see them anywhere.

Does anyone recognise them please…?

Thanks!!

Best guess would be bushes to go between brake or clutch hydraulic lines and their mounting clips.
Second guess would be bushes for the headlamp mounting bracket.

Do they have threads in them?

If so then wellnuts, often used for holding windscreens or fairing panels on as they hold securely but allow a bit of flex.

As per the screen to fairing fasteners in this pic;

To add, on a monster they are used to hold the side panels under the seat to the frame.

Thanks, not threaded. The side panels use a much smaller “plugs” and the headlight fairing even smaller. These are c. 1” long. Can’t for the life of me remember where they came from…..??!!

What about to hold on those little triangular carbon fiber bits typically with the model name on.

The Evo uses something similar to affix the rear lamp cluster…presumably to give bulbs/ leds an easier ride 🤨 ….

Thanks all. don’t think it’s for a cable to pass through as I havent pulled any out. They don’t hold any carbon bits on. And I havent removed the rear light cluster…..

They don’t look like anything on the Ducati parts schematics hence missing them the first time. I just had an epiphany in the night and remembered what they may be.
