Now this is bizarre

As the usual suspects will attest odd things happening to me is the norm !! but this is a new level , i ordered a chain alignment tool from e bay nothing unusual in that
you might think but this is me so when it arrived today while i was digging holes in rock hard ground for fence posts my wife came over and said did you order this
whilst looking bemused and this is from a lady who has known me for a very long time yes i said why ,was her reply looking even more bemused was why do you need 200 hair bands !!! What ! after opening the package there was the alignment tool together with the bag my wife opened with 200 hair bands of the elasticated type lol
i contacted the seller and asked if he wanted me to return the items obviously sent by mistake and they replied that it was a free gift haha so if any of you ar your better halves need hair control just turn up at any of our get togethers and help yourself .. Gary you could offer them to members who attend any event . Even for me this is mad.. oh well . Strange thing is none of my friends / family are surprised ....

I was in Ireland on business and in the evening, the customer took me to a pub (no surprise there then) where they were having the weekly pub quiz and I joined their team.

We won the quiz and they told me that, as they had never won before it must have been my contribution that made the difference (flattery gets you everywhere) so they offered me the prize, a hairdryer.

Those of you who have met me will know I don't need a hairdryer, I'm very much a wash-and-go kind of person so I declined, we had a good laugh about it though...

Kind of reminds me of Wayne's World 'Gun Rack' scene;

Just thought an offer of a hair band would be cruel in my case. It may be a new thing, I bought a set of pin punches recently and in the packaging with them was a small bag of Haribo sweeties.

Gutted - no freebies when I got new grips, bar ends and a radiator cover from Demon Tweeks this week for my 821. My wife would have appreciated something for her hair and I would have scoffed any haribo's.

That's Demon Tweeks on my sh!t list then! Only problem with those little bags of Haribo they dont last very long and I'm not sure what to do with all the stickers I've collected over the years? A collage maybe?
