My 1100 Evo is now 14years old and the original battery has eventually had enough, not sure many will get that sort of life. Anyway, new batteries, what’s hot and where is the best place to get one?

Thanks in advance

When we needed a new battery for Louise's 620ie cheapest place for a Yuasa was Halfords and then they gave us a Bluelight discount on top. Was about £50 from memory but thats probably a smaller CCA one than you need 😊😊

I replaced the original with an OEM Yuasa on my Evo at the 15 k miles desmo service….that’s now nearly 7 years ago and with careful occasional charging with the Optimate over the winter it started on the button when I got the MOT done last month. I got it from a local supplier who was a tenner dearer at £62 only because I wanted to be able to complain directly to a supplier if it went wrong. My last experience with an online supplier ended in tears because of their intransigence.

100% keep it local - Halfords is 5 minute walk from us and had it on the shelf - cheapest, closest and easiest to take back if needed.
