Hi All,

I've got a Motion Pro throttle as part of the Mikuni 40mm TDMR kit fitted to my 900. When I have fitted the stock grips its apparent that they are 10mm too long.

Searching the internet its very hard to find some sports bike style grips at 110mm length as this size is typically (I have learnt) is for vintage mopeds.

I think that the FCR kits also use the same throttles so where is everyone getting this little grips from?

Cheers - Ben

I had a Motion pro throttle supplied with my FCRs though I replaced it fairly quickly with a 916 throttle as it has a fast idle setting (useful on carbs with no choke/cold enrichment). I had to get a custom cable setup though as the 916 is a single cable (no pull/push). It is much nicer to use though as, despite being only a quarter-turn, it is smoother and lighter having no return cable, also easier to adjust.

I did run the Motion-pro for a while though and just fitted a standard grip, leaving some overhang, never caused any bother.
