A VERY NAUGHTY MOTORCYCLE!
That was a great day out, so thanks to Dave for arranging it! I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the 5 of you, and thanks for welcoming a tardy and slightly grumpy stranger! It's a great museum that will certainly justify another visit sometime.
Although using the A5 instead of the M1 meant it took me over two-and-a-half hours each way, I also enjoyed (most of) the ride, albeit on the ST4 not the M900 as intended.
When I got home I took another quick look at the VERY NAUGHTY Monster, and located the cause of it's total electrical failure yesterday morning (after being OK the night before!): the large multi-block connector next to the battery only works if it is wiggled about into one position, so it's evidently badly corroded and needs sorting out, which I'm about to do. Over the years I've previously sorted out almost every other wiring connection on the bike, so I guess it's par for the course.
