• PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WHEN ATTENDING A MONSTER MEET/RIDEOUT

    1. All riders ride at their OWN risk.
    2. The UKMOC will not be held liable for any accidents to riders/passengers/motorcycles whatsoever.
    3. You are deemed to be in control of your own motor cycle at all times
    4. Please let the ride leader know, if you are intending to 'peel off' en-route.

    ADVICE FOR THOSE LEADING RIDEOUTS

    1. Make yourself known to all persons who intend to rideout with you.
    2. We recommend the 'Drop-Off' system for group rides.
    3. Find out if everyone has ridden in a group before - if not explain any relevant info.
    4. Ensure all have enough fuel - and locate nearest garages to the meet point.
    5. Ask everybody to ride slightly 'off-set' - eg - do not directly follow the bike in front WHERE POSSIBLE. (this leaves extra braking room).
    6. HAVE FUN!

Martyn has suggested Cloud 9 which is situated on Tibenham airfield.
It is an active airfield so we might see some gliders being towed up if we're lucky. No Idea if they use aero-tow or a winch, but either way it will be interesting.

Sunday 8th March, 10.30am. Cloud 9, Tibenham Airfield NR16 1NT.

Looking forward to riding to this one as we haven't had a decent enough meet this year to get a bike out.
That said, Clunkers MC did have a lovely day out today in the glorious February sunshine. Looking forward to a report on here as muggins was unable to attend!

This might possibly be the last notification of one of our meets on here so if you are interested in joining a thriving active little motorcycle group, just contact me.

I should be there, maybe Steve too. Meeting Roger in Eye.
Clunkers meet yesterday went well. Roger and I met in Framlingham for a coffee before making our way up to Flixton, found B1116 closed between Fressingfield & Weybread for the next 7 months! Our diversion, avoiding tiny, filthy roads took us almost to Diss before joining the A143.
Bright sunshine greeted us at the museum, followed shortly after by Sid on his Bonnie, we had time for a good look round before Martyn turned up on his A10.
Sid then lead us, via a fuel stop in Halesworth, to the team room at Aldringham, where tea and scones were enjoyed by all.
A briskish ride back to Colchester where I caught up the school traffic completed an enjoyable day out, 150miles in the dry and warm sun.
Obligatory motorcycles and aeroplane photo!
