• PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WHEN ATTENDING A MONSTER MEET/RIDEOUT

    1. All riders ride at their OWN risk.
    2. The UKMOC will not be held liable for any accidents to riders/passengers/motorcycles whatsoever.
    3. You are deemed to be in control of your own motor cycle at all times
    4. Please let the ride leader know, if you are intending to 'peel off' en-route.

    ADVICE FOR THOSE LEADING RIDEOUTS

    1. Make yourself known to all persons who intend to rideout with you.
    2. We recommend the 'Drop-Off' system for group rides.
    3. Find out if everyone has ridden in a group before - if not explain any relevant info.
    4. Ensure all have enough fuel - and locate nearest garages to the meet point.
    5. Ask everybody to ride slightly 'off-set' - eg - do not directly follow the bike in front WHERE POSSIBLE. (this leaves extra braking room).
    6. HAVE FUN!

What a nice day for a ride!
4 of us Clunkers met at Walcott in the Kingfisher Café, but nearer lunch time than breakfast this time as it's a popular venue on Boxing day and I could only book a table for 12.30pm.
No matter, it gave us a bit more time to get there and for the temperature to get a bit less cold.
The nosh was second to none and I think I would give it the highest marks of any meet this year.
We had a very jovial meeting with the wild winter North sea pounding mercilessly in plain panoramic view only yards away.

Sadly Dacs had to give it a miss due to feeling poorly.. Hope you get well soon mate.
So we had Gordon on Triumph, DaveR on his 750SS, Martyn on his favourite winter bike, the R80RT and I took my second favourite winter bike, the Guzzi 850-T.
Unfortunately the new bike parking arrangement at The Kingfisher isn't very conducive to a good photo, so apologies for that, but then I'm no photographer!

Hillcrest Nurseries Café was requested as the venue for January's meet, this will fall on the 11th of Jan.
I'll see you there.
Happy new year.
