• PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WHEN ATTENDING A MONSTER MEET/RIDEOUT

    1. All riders ride at their OWN risk.
    2. The UKMOC will not be held liable for any accidents to riders/passengers/motorcycles whatsoever.
    3. You are deemed to be in control of your own motor cycle at all times
    4. Please let the ride leader know, if you are intending to 'peel off' en-route.

    ADVICE FOR THOSE LEADING RIDEOUTS

    1. Make yourself known to all persons who intend to rideout with you.
    2. We recommend the 'Drop-Off' system for group rides.
    3. Find out if everyone has ridden in a group before - if not explain any relevant info.
    4. Ensure all have enough fuel - and locate nearest garages to the meet point.
    5. Ask everybody to ride slightly 'off-set' - eg - do not directly follow the bike in front WHERE POSSIBLE. (this leaves extra braking room).
    6. HAVE FUN!

Calne Bike Meet 29th July 2017

Liz and I will have the also traditional all Ducatis welcome stand, we'll be right in the centre of town adjacent to the traffic lights (there is only one set) so not hard to find.
I do fully intend this year to go for a walk and see the umpteen variety of bikes that attend the event, I always seem to end up yacking all day on the stand.
See you all there! :mand:

Me too, though I'll be in the naughty corner as the Elefant is only half Ducati.

Gonna miss unfortunately... will be at "Ramblin Man" that weekend...see ya sometime else.

It's looking to be damp in the afternoon, so I'll be looking to arrive at the Ducati stand about 10:00, have a look around, then push off around noon.

See you there!

B*ll*x!!!

No show from me, sorry.

Battery [Was] charged, idiot lights come on nice and bright, solenoid goes click nice and clearly, but nothing else happens.
So it's off with the bodywork, out with the multimeter and see how far the voltage gets.
Hopefully it's the solenoid, cables and/or connections as starter motors are a bit dearer.....?

For those who haven't been, this is an amazing event. Well worth going.
Sadly I have too much outside work and not enough dry weather available
Have a good day guys.

Darkness ... that's a nice companion to a monster.

Tidy display of bins too.
