• PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WHEN ATTENDING A MONSTER MEET/RIDEOUT

    1. All riders ride at their OWN risk.
    2. The UKMOC will not be held liable for any accidents to riders/passengers/motorcycles whatsoever.
    3. You are deemed to be in control of your own motor cycle at all times
    4. Please let the ride leader know, if you are intending to 'peel off' en-route.

    ADVICE FOR THOSE LEADING RIDEOUTS

    1. Make yourself known to all persons who intend to rideout with you.
    2. We recommend the 'Drop-Off' system for group rides.
    3. Find out if everyone has ridden in a group before - if not explain any relevant info.
    4. Ensure all have enough fuel - and locate nearest garages to the meet point.
    5. Ask everybody to ride slightly 'off-set' - eg - do not directly follow the bike in front WHERE POSSIBLE. (this leaves extra braking room).
    6. HAVE FUN!

Next opportunity to meet the illustrious East Anglian section will be on Sunday 13th April at 10.30am.

We're meeting at Brown's which is on the roundabout at Mundford where the A1065 and A143 cross.

I'll be booking a table so we can eat inside in case it's snowing..
I'd appreciate a nod if you think you're coming so I can get a bigger table if needs be.
Cheers. (y)

For anyone going to Brown's this coming Sunday the Desert Rats memorial is worth a look, it's about 2 miles north on the A1065 towards Swaffham just off the nearside of the road

Sorry Walter, I haven't had a message on any of the various media.

No worries about missing the meet and no costs incurred, we'll look forward to seeing you next time.
Congrats on the sale of your '69 T100 I bet that's cheered the bank balance up!

It was a very pleasant saunter to the gig this morning, catching up with Dacs along the way.
It was a little bit on the nippy side to start with but okay.
We had 6 on bikes.
The Red contingent, Dacs' M1000Sie, my M900Sie and Gordon's Triumph 795.

DaveR's M1100S, UnkleDukes's Triumph and Martyn's BMW R80.

Brown's is a bit of a "biker" café unfortunately and so has the accompanying noisy arrivals and departures! But grown ups also attend.

Much excited banter and very nice nosh was had despite our table having been recorded for 2.30 and not 10.30!
No matter, we found a better table under a roof outside.
Martyn has found a new venue just opened with a "celebrity chef" in Keninghall which I might try out before our next meet on May 11th.

Gordon. Dacs and myself rode back to Gazza Towers for more coffee and cake after breakfast for extended banter.. A pleasant morning. :D

Empty plates and happy faces.
