    4. Please let the ride leader know, if you are intending to 'peel off' en-route.

    ADVICE FOR THOSE LEADING RIDEOUTS

    1. Make yourself known to all persons who intend to rideout with you.
    2. We recommend the 'Drop-Off' system for group rides.
    3. Find out if everyone has ridden in a group before - if not explain any relevant info.
    4. Ensure all have enough fuel - and locate nearest garages to the meet point.
    5. Ask everybody to ride slightly 'off-set' - eg - do not directly follow the bike in front WHERE POSSIBLE. (this leaves extra braking room).
    6. HAVE FUN!

Okay, I've moved the September meet forward a week from the usual 2nd Sunday.
Reason being that the forecast is looking very nice for the 7th and is only going to get less clement as the season changes, so make the most of it I thought.

Let's start back at the Eastern end of our range again and give The Dove another look.

Sunday 7th September, 10.30am, The Dove, Alburgh, IP20 0EP. (Just East of Harleston on the A143.)

Note; The Dove is totally gluten free.
 
Sorry Gary, can't make the 7th, hope you enjoy the Dove, it was good the last time we went there.
 
Damn i was in Harleston on Tuesday getting the St2 starter prob fixed which Carl did and gratis ! so that was a 150 mile round trip and
ive just got back from deepest darkest Wales (Kidwelly) to see my son, went Saturday back today 541 mile round trip which the St2 romped despite lousy weather , probably going to Stratford autojumble on Sunday but not set in stone yet..

Well that went well. It was nice to meet Mark on his rather nice Red with White stripe S2R 800. I didn't get to speak to Mark very much as he was at the opposite end of the table and there was a lot of banter flying in all directions!
Dacs on M1000Sie and recovering remarkably well from a cataract removal. My M900Sie made it a draw between the Monsters and others, with Roger bringing his Harley, Sid on his '76 Bonnie and Gordon on his new Triumph that I still can't remember the model!!
It would have been a Triumph beats Monster meet if I had completed the twin disc conversion on my '77 Tiger, but sadly I'm still awaiting some machining to make the parts mate together properly. Modern replacement parts are of shocking quality I'm finding.. Very disappointing!

Great to see everyone and it was a very lively meeting, stunning weather compared with the past week too.
Sorry again to DaveR and Speedy for moving the date away from what you could attend. I discovered that your emails had gone into my junk, so I didn't see them until after posting the meet..

Looks like the next meet will fall on Oct 12th. Venue as yet undecided.
 
Great to meet you guys. Maybe next time I will actually eat with you if I can learn to read in the meantime! I found the Shell garage in Harleston and took a longer ride back home.
The Horkey Kitchen up the road from me near Bawdeswell does a great breakfast if you haven’t tried it already.
