I'm toying with the idea of getting a small batch of the rim clips made for the early Bosch metal headlamps.
These are the clips that hold the rim to the shell and have a screw in them and appear to be unobtainable.

Club funds seem robust enough to make this a club project and sell them at a small profit for the club.

At this stage I'm obviously interested in what the uptake would be before diving in too deep.
Please declare your interest now if this something you need and would buy.

How many do you need Darren.
I'm trying to find out what sort of batch numbers are viable.

Currently 2 as I have 2 viable units with no clips but may be in need of more in future, so could order a few more to keep in reserve. I think someone else was asking for one recently but cant recall who.

If you get some I could do with 4 if possible.

Sorry. This notion got nowhere!
If you're ever in a garden centre, look at the various greenhouse glazing "W" clips.
Some of those are useable in headlamp rims, you might need to trim the long "legs" down a bit to suit.
If you really really need the genuine Bosch clips, I believe there are various help lines run by the NHS.. :ROFLMAO:

Hi
Its not the W clips I am after its the one that goes at the bottom that the retaining screw goes into to lock the headlight assembly into the bowl.

Doh! I forgot what the project was going to be until I read my first post.
Yes it was the rim clip with the screw that I was going to try and get made.

Sorry I couldn't be arsed in the end.
