• PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WHEN ATTENDING A MONSTER MEET/RIDEOUT

    1. All riders ride at their OWN risk.
    2. The UKMOC will not be held liable for any accidents to riders/passengers/motorcycles whatsoever.
    3. You are deemed to be in control of your own motor cycle at all times
    4. Please let the ride leader know, if you are intending to 'peel off' en-route.

    ADVICE FOR THOSE LEADING RIDEOUTS

    1. Make yourself known to all persons who intend to rideout with you.
    2. We recommend the 'Drop-Off' system for group rides.
    3. Find out if everyone has ridden in a group before - if not explain any relevant info.
    4. Ensure all have enough fuel - and locate nearest garages to the meet point.
    5. Ask everybody to ride slightly 'off-set' - eg - do not directly follow the bike in front WHERE POSSIBLE. (this leaves extra braking room).
    6. HAVE FUN!

A brand new venue for August.
It's well out in the sticks and hopefully far from the madding holiday crowd?
It's a bit of a hidden gem really.

Sunday August 10th, 10.30am, The Grumpy Goat, Bardwell, IP31 1AB.

It's not actually very far from Hillside Nurseries, Stanton.
You can get directly to it by turning West just to the South of the Nurseries, or a myriad of other lanes and byways! :ROFLMAO:
Happy hunting.

Sounds promising i will try to remember to fill up before i leave home this time

Just remembered at lastminute.com to book the table for tomorrow!!
Looks like being a lovely day for a ride out, so I've booked a couple of spare seats.

See you there.

Another great meet with plenty of lively banter between the 4 of us, Roger, DaveR, Speedy codger and myself.
Unfortunately Richard got as far as Barningham and suffered a starter motor issue of some sort, as yet undiagnosed, so he turned back to investigate. Hope you can get it sorted mate.

Nice nosh at the Grumpy Goat with approving noises over the table. Very nice service and setting too.
Highways, or whoever is digging the roads up again, conspired to beguile those coming up from the South, but we all found it okay in the end, with encouraging signs put up by locals declaring "Bardwell Open" despite the road closures!

Next meet Sept 14th. Watch this space.

Great to meet up with the guys again , brilliant company / banter . Have to say though that the "CLUB" are a joke well over 500 members and 4 turn up Richard was willing but his bike disgraced itself which is fair enough , as for the rest words fail me except to say why are you a member ?
Strong words but when i see the effort Gary puts into the club it pisses me off
