small world, t'was Rick Hannah whom purchased my imported Suzuki GS1200ss. (think he made his money in s/w development)
 
Overall, I quite like that.
I think most of that probably stems from the Roadracing tank though. I've always loved those tanks, particularly for the way that the cutaway rear section shows off the rear cylinder, thus emphasising the vee configuration of the motor. I would pay top money for one of those tanks these days (and throw in my carbon tank into the payment ... if anyone has one).
Believe it or not, there was a time when a certain member of this very club managed to buy one for fifty quid !!!
I quite like the seat too.
Beyond that, I always like a minimalist theme. However I would make my usual criticism that the lack of belt covers or proper mudguarding is a step too far.
Dunno about that swingarm either ... the std ally one polishes up nicely, does an adequate job and looks good too while also being more minimalist.
Upside-down (ie std) forks are structurally superior so I would've stuck with those but changed to the Maxton internals (which I intend to do myself one of these days).
The headlight is a bit sticky-outy too.
Same Sil-Moto headers as mine I think, but mine have a linkpipe to a high-level can, which I rather prefer.
That all sounds like a lot of criticism which is unfair really because like I said at the start, overall I quite like that.
Custom bikes are always a very personal thing.
 
It’s certainly a “head turner “ …..I like it….but probably a ball-ache to keep as shiny.
 
I quite like the tank and the seat style-wise but not a fan of chrome/polished ally, open belts or red bling.

Nicely done but, a bit too hipster for my liking.
