Photo of my M750 with alloy swing arm from an S4 fitted -

the shiny gold end plates are after-market, I want a pair of original ones. For some reason, those fitted to the swingarm used for the S4, 900ie & 750Sie Monsters have different part nos for right and left (373.1.002.1A and 373.1.004.1A respectively) and the right hand one is no longer available from Ducati. Anyone have a pair they wish to sell?

I think they are the standard ones, at least they look the same as my S4 ones. What makes you think they are aftermarket?

The difference is that the sprocket side one is shaved off flush with the arm to help miss the sprocket nuts.

Good luck with the hunt.

Yep, they look stock to me too.

Thanks for the replies - I assumed they were after market because they didn't look like ones on my M1000. But they wouldn't match anyway, cos by 2004 the end caps matched, ie the same part no. for each side. Does at least make the search easier, as I only need to find a righthand one, that's the one that has a small nick out of it.

Indeed, I have a (spare) set of these that came with a swingarm that I bought and I'd be happy to part with them but, they are gold coloured/look identical to yours, AFAIK they are genuine M900 - and the sprocket side is machined away on the inside.

Glad I noticed this thread as I've fitted after market ones too my 900 and never spotted the difference. Just by luck they were dry fitted the correct way round.

BTW my originals are good

My aftermarket adjusters are identical left to right, they don't have the 'lip' that protrudes outside the swingarm so don't need it machining off.

Dukedesmo, thanks for the offer and you have a PM.
Checked my end caps and they are indeed original, with the shaved edge on the left hand one. Total red herring as I am running the 4.5 inch 750 rear wheel, the sprocket nuts could completely unwind and fall off without touching the side caps :D

All sorted & no longer looking for these, thanks to Dukedesmo
