1994 M900 - no connection

Well it does look absolutely immaculate, it reminds me of the one I bought secondhand in 1998, well before I started tinkering anyway.
 
I think the question I meant to ask was: "If you were in the market for a new or nearly new bike what would you buy?"
A 30 year old M900 with 2.5k miles or say a new SV650 or, GS8X or MT07 or CB650 or the new Hornet or whatever the Kawasaki mid range equivalent is or even a Trident 660.
If you actually used it then the depreciation on the M900 would be fairly discouraging. Against that there would be the pride in ownership and the looks when you open the garage door. Reliability and maybe parts availability could be seen to be against the M900.
Personally I would really struggle to pay the asking price for this M900, if it was 5k then no contest.
 
I agree, some of the slighty newer Monsters can be had for less and have little to no depreciation. Even as a solely investment bike it's probably topped out . Nice and looks like it sold.
