Radial clutch and brake CNC master cylinders
any one tried any of the cheaper chinese CNC radial clutch and brake masters 19mm cylinder bore etc Im curious because i may need some soon and Brembo, ISR, Accosato,HEL would cost me £500 all the chinese CNC stuff I see and have bought Including Ohlins steering damper and footrests seems very well made and function well

Chinese made footrests are one thing but I’m blowed if I’d trust anything brake related

I'm sure the Chinese can make quality, but my problem is that I'm never sure when that is, and they do also churn out some total cr. p. Me I'd prefer to go for the used option off fleabay or whatever.

Adeline CNC are available in UK a lot of racers use them my mate has them on his Yamaha R1 trackbike he says they are just as good as the ISRs he had on the bike before another racer bumped his bike off the track in 2017 but at a fraction of the price

I looked at pirates he does not have 13 or 14mm for the clutch 16 is too big its OK for brake side

Are you running an oversized clutch slave Jerry? 16 might be ok if you are. The standard 13 or 14 I have is marginal with the bigger clutch slave.

Jerry is right, 16 will be no good.
Standard will be 12.7 or 13mm at the master, the whole idea of using a bigger servo piston is to increase the mechanical advantage and so make the clutch feel lighter. Using a bigger master piston will go the other way and make the clutch feel heavier, and only a mm will make a big difference to surface area so 16mm is a very big jump. That said the pivot juxtaposition on the handlebar lever is inclusive in the overall mechanical advantage and I believe that is adjustable on the radial levers? so you might be able to claw back some of the mechanical advantage, but what that does to the lever position to the fingers I do not know.

It's the compulsive modder in me that keeps looking at those Brembo RCS masters and similar and wondering 'what if'. I guess the size required could be based on the 796/1100 series bikes and I'm sure Luddite will chime in with the required size info shortly.
I'm currently still using the old school setup with old style axial 916 masters and with the oversized clutch slave the lever span has to be max in order to get the clutch open, which leaves no lever adjustment. It's fortunate that in all other respects it just works fine and is lighter than standard. If it ain't broke, right?

I did look at the Brembo RCS calipers for my Evo some time ago, Darren. If I were to fit them, I decided I'd need a 19RCS (pt. no. 110A26310) for the brake and a 16RCS (pt. no. 110A26350) for the clutch.
The 19RCS works for most twin disc systems, so long as they don't have sliding calipers like the S2R 800. The 16RCS replaces stock 14 or 15mm clutch master cylinders. For reference, the Evo brake and clutch masters are 18mm and 15mm respectively. (I'm not sure about the 796 sizes as it has the coffin masters.) The brake caliper comes with a microswitch for the brake light, so is "plug and play" but there is no switch on the clutch side so, if your bike has a safety device, you'd have to use a pressure switch instead.
