Hello from a newbie :)

Hiya, just thought I'd introduce myself! I'm taking module one on the 28th which I'm really excited and a bit nervous about!

I jumped the gun a bit and bought a Monster before the tests

Loaded up for the trip home:

I'm only 5'2" so went for a monster as it came highly recommended for short stuffs!!

Ellie

Welcome aboard!

Best of luck with the module.
The Hampshire/Wlts lot are very active, so why not pop along and introduce yourself at one off their breakfasts.

Welcome to the club. IF you pass you can come and meet the rest of us at some point during the UKMOC Weekender just outside of Banbury May 4th or 5th.

Welcome along and good luck on the 28th.

If the monster seat height is still a bit much, there are often lowered seats to be had on ebay etc....seems to be a common mod on monsters for the vertically challenged, so there are lots about.

Hi Ellie, from a 5"2 1/2 short legged Monster owner.

Best brain on the forum to pick if you do decide you want to lower your monster further is Hellcat's.

Best of luck for the 28th, and hope to see you either at Banbury or a Hampshire/Wiltshire meet. SunEye who lives in your general neck of the woods (Bognor-ish) is a regular at these dos.

nice looking bike. dont think you can go wrong with the monster as a first bike. clutch is a little heavy and takes some getting used to though. is your light pointing really far down?

Welcome Shorty.

Best of luck with the test.

Must say, I *do* like the original Monster red/bronze colour combination. Classic.

Planning on lots of night-time wheelies I see.

Thank you for the warm welcome!
Will definitely make it to a breakfast as soon as I'm all passed (fingers crossed!), I'm working that weekend in May though so will keep an eye out for the next big meet.

I've only booked module 1 so far as didn't want to book both and end up failing Module 1! Hopefully not too long before I'm fully licensed though

Oo I hadn't noticed the light before but looking at the photos it does look to be pointing quite far down, will check it out tomorrow. Lol, although night time wheelies could be fun!

I may have to pick Hellcat's brain about lowering, I'm in two minds whether to lower or just shave a bit off the seat (i bought a second hand one just in case it goes wrong!) and get used to riding like that just in case in the future a bigger bike comes calling
