New member!
Hi Folks, Over the moon to be part of this club! Brought my Ducati S4R 2004 last week and can't believe I didn't do it earlier! Moved from a life of Honda Hornets and Kawa Zrx, just wished the guy who sold it too me had told me that the fuel sensor didn't work!!!!! 3 hours in the middle of nowhere! Anyone got a spare????
Also I'm bit of a sucker for a belly pan, yes I know! they look great without one but needs must! Does anyone know where I can get a nice one, but not Carbon, prefer to have it painted the same colour as the bike, BLUE !. Hope to meet up soon, Ian. |

Welcome to the club Ian.
Sounds like you've got a couple of things you'll be sorting on the bike in the near future. Good luck.

Welcome Ian.
The fuel level sensor is neither cheap nor accurate and should not be relied upon. Rather reset your trip meter each fill up and start looking for a fuel station when it reaches 100 or so. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DUCATI-MON...item43aff42057 Last edited by Capo; 26-05-2012 at 07:51 PM.. |

Welcome to the Club and forum. You often see belly pans for sale on here or on E bay, one will be along before too long.

Thanks for the tips Capo and Rally, will look out for a belly pan, and I think a £5 petrol can and the trip will be much cheaper!

Nice ride though
