Powersports and Classic Bikes, Christchurch, Dorset
I'd just like to give these guys a shout out.
I've not had my Ducati there yet as it's still in self assembly kit form, but I take all my other bikes there. It used to be owned and ran by a guy who used to ride with my dad in his old rocker's gang back in the 60's and I even bought my first bike form them- a 4 stroke trailie Honda XL125RF back in 1987. The current owner bought the business about a year ago and transformed it. Dave Leach is the local DOC rep for the New Forest so some of you might already know him. He's a proper Ducati head with a rather enviable garage.. and great to chat to. They sell and work on all bikes but specialise in old and modern Italian classics so do resto work too. The MOTs are very fair and they are very helpful to and only charge for the actual time not rounded up to the nearest hour if they only spent 20 mins doing a job.... The spanner guy (sorry can't remember your name!) is really good too. Not often you find proper friendly staff nowadays that actually love their job. And the hourly rate is very good too. They can be found at 189 Barrack Road, Christchurch, Dorset BH23 2AR 01202485645
