Yep just got the servo refitted. All working well, the smartmoto eliminator does not work on a 2013 evo.
Jonzi is sorting me out with a duc ee one so i'll let yous know how that goes. Yeah i only wanted the servo and cables gone as a tidy up type thing rather than as a performance mod. Hopefully I'll get there in the end with the servo. Looks like o2's I'll need to live with at least for the moment. The biggest mod I suppose is the pcv, low revs it's insane how better it is i can ride through villages at 10 miles per hour without hunting, surging or snatching and not having to use the clutch. Can even ride through town one handed it's that smooth. And it feels like it pulls harder medium to top end. |

The fact that your Evo is running so sweetly low down suggests that your O2 sensors may already have been disabled.
When I had a Power Commander on my S2R, it had no effect low down until I disabled the lambdas. In fact, I found this FAQ on the Dynojet site: "Do I need to disconnect my o2 sensors? In order for the race ready line of Power Commanders to have complete control over everywhere a vehicle runs, we usually want to disable, or control the stock o2 sensor(s) on a machine. This gives us the ability to tune the vehicle everywhere. If the stock o2 sensors are left connected as from the factory, they would conflict with the fuel changes the Power Commander is making. In effect, nullifying the fuel changes the Power Commander makes." Perhaps your PCV has the Autotune unit, which uses wideband lambdas to adjust the fuelling? Whatever the reasons, you've found the holy grail of smooth low speed running and I'd leave things as they are now and just enjoy it! |

They definitely throw up an error if I unplug them, whether or not the ecu or pcv handles them differently somehow i have no idea.

Jonzi, got he duc.ee in the post. Thank you it's much appreciated.
However i don't know if I'm missing something, it does not fit the plug/connector. I'm wondering if there's a difference on the 13 year evo's See pics next to the one i bought on ebay which fits but does not work. Any help is appreciated Last edited by Ron1000; 20-05-2017 at 03:30 PM.. |

Hi Ron
There are some software differences between the 2013 Evo and earlier versions, which is why lambda eliminators don't seem to work on the later model. However, as far as the servo motor is concerned, the part no. is the same for all Evos as is the wiring loom so the plugs should be the same. I think the problem is because jonzi has a 796, which uses a different motor and which, presumably, has a different plug. You could ask the manufacturer if the internals are the same and, if they are, you could put a suitable plug on yourself. You can get wiring products from here: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/3waycomponents/ with 10% discount for members. |

Ahhhh right, is that a new airbox or just a different filter? Or mod current box?

I'll have that same mod as my bike originally came with termis, ecu and air filter kit…termis since sold.
I done a wee bit research and came across the mwr air box mod, anybody done this? |
