Hello
Hello all
Thought I'd pop in and say hello. I've just taken delivery of a Monster 750 at the weekend despite not actually having a licence to ride yet My test's in about 4 weeks which means that I have to now sit and stare at the flippin' thing in the garage. What can I say, it was an impulse buy! Feel free to tell me that I've bought the wrong bike for a newbie rider |

Thanks for the welcome, lads
It's nice to know I haven't bitten off more than I can chew I've already had learned friends telling me that I should've bought a Jap bike instead of a Ducati but hey, I always did prefer pasta to rice |

everyone was telling me to get a jap bike instead of the ducati. saying stuff like oh you`l end up taking it to the shop more times than you will ride it i just thought screw you. the world would be a sad place if everyone had gsxr`s or r1`s. i wanted a ducati because not many people have got them, they`re reserved for the elite
They have character and soul and they sound like no other bike out there. OH! i nearly forgot and the girls like them also, its true lol. I was in a bar one day and was chatting to this group of gals when i asked one if they liked bikes and one gal said dont even talk to us unless you have a ducati, well i just laughed and when i said i had one they wouldnt believe me lol Last edited by Arbeia; 19-08-2008 at 07:43 AM.. |

You've bought a beauty I'm sure. Welcome to the club and good luck with your test.
If it's in 4 weeks that gives you plenty of time to polish it to within a inch of its life.

Thanks everyone
To be honest, J.P, the bike is absolutely spotless as it is. It doesn't even look like it's been on the road |
