My Bank account has been emptied ??????
went online to pay a bill this morning and instead of ther being about £2000 in my account it was £1463 in the red !!!??????? A payment for £3677.22p had been taken out of the account by ADMIRAL INSURANCE ?????? How did this happen?? I have never had any dealings in my life with Admiral nor has any memebr of my family ??
So called HSBC Fraud line who told me that they could not reverse or cancel the transaction as it was an authorised renewal by Admiral????? but i dont have a policy with Admiral ?? Been onto Admiral,, very hard to deal with,, eventually got through to customer service ,, who want a policy number and they say its a renewal from a previous policy ????? I dont know what they are talking about , Its a mess Im waiting for their fraud team to get back to me and they admit that they did take the huge payment out of my account and that it is registered as an authorised auto policy renewal but not for any of my vehicles , or even in my name or address ???????? Im not very happy this morning

The modern world of internet finance can be quite scary can't it.
I avoid it as much as possible but its becoming a necessary part of life to a large extent. Now, where did I put my Werther's Originals ? Hope you get it sorted, Jerry. |

GOOD NEWS ........JUST CHECKED MY BANK AND THE MONEY IS RETURNED IN FULL
Now im waiting for the explanations and enquiries for an answer to what and how this happened ,,,, ONE THING IS ALREADY CLEAR IT WAS NOT FRAUD ,,, no 3rd parties involved this is entirely ADMIRALS error . Both me and HSBC have informed regulators and Ombudsman for a full investigation as to how Admiral could have caused this issue
