Five things you don't like about your Monster

Wasting time on YouTube tonight watching motorcycle reviews I decided to watch a couple of old ones on various Monster models to compare against the modern bikes being reviewed.

One in particular took my interest detailing the Five things the owner hated about his Monster- most of it was down to age and neglect and in his defence he'd only had the bike (at the time) a few months.

Now I know we all love our Monsters here and can go on for ages about how great they are but this got me thinking about what I don't like about my 1997 900 and after all these years there still really isn't very much, but in no particular order here goes:

1- Given I like to get away for the odd weekend on it I have to say I don't think throw-over panniers fit on it as well as they have other bikes I've owned.

2- The lack of under seat storage means anything that doesn't fit in the little tool box (like a disc lock) has to be carried elsewhere.

3- I guess there are also the things which have simply moved on over time when compared to modern bikes such as Mr Gazza's 'favourite' the Headlight beam- I don't ride that much at night anymore so it is a little unfair for me to count this but here it is anyway.

And I think that is about it- if I think of anything else I'll pop back and add them but for now how about a little 'Just for Fun' list of things you don't like specific to your model Monster and personal to you.
