1999 M900 Forks
Hi.
Long shot I know but I need a servicable set of fork legs for my 1990 M900-having just bought the old girl I really want to use her as much as possible and don"t really want to take of the road at this time of year. Regards, Burn. |

Dunno what you want to pay but you could try checking out "Pirinimoto" on ebay.
He sells loads of new, old stock Ducati forks at decent prices. I guess they're not a cheap solution, but they are well priced .. and presumably worry/snag free. |

Servicing forks is few hours unless you want to mod them so why second set?

You could do yourself a favour and take to Alec at Proteam Ducati in Strood for advise or getting them to service them. In the railway arches behind Halfords.

1999 M900 Forks
It was whilst round at Pro Team that I really noticed how bad the problem is-chrome on both stanchions badly pitted and the R/H seal so badly ripped it dropped most of that legs oil whilst there.Only had her a week and really intended to rack some miles up before any major overhaul work-ho hum, best laid plans of mice and men etc.At least the ABBA stand has arrived so at least I can get the front in the air(bloody good service-two days from ordering to delivery). As an aside has any body had any recent experience of Tarozzi tubes,I had a set for a Guzzi a few years ago and even under gaitors they where scrap after a year.
