im James and i have an addiction.

so its finally happened.
i have more carbon on the bike than is tasteful. however i am happy and have learned to live with my problem.
thing is if im going down im going to take some of you with me.

having moved my indicators recently i didnt like the ugly holes that were left in the headlamp mounting bracket so decided to make a replacement at work first i fab'd one out of ally then decided it needed to be carbon. so made a mould up for the bend as when i initially tried to use one of the original brackets to mould too the vacuum pressure bent it.
i think it came out quite well!
and as i have kept the moulds could possibly make some more? unfortunately due to the time and the materials i couldnt give them away so just gauging interest at the min.

what can i make next?!!

Now you see I have a lot of Carbon on mine too, but I can handle it...I can give up any time..

That's a nice piece of work there Smiffy...Next logical step that I can see would be a Carbon headlamp shell....And what about a Carbon rim? I know chrome would still look nice on against a Carbon shell...But a Carbon one??

Seat base would look good just purely for look and the under tray protector.

thanks guys. i was about to get one of them all matt black with clear lens jobbys off ebay which is partly why id made these as thought they would go better. just couldnt be bothered paying 80 odd quid for them off the net. carbon ring and bucket do sound good though!

Ohh, you do seem to have an extreme case of carbonio. I think you are probably way past treatment so you might as well carry on. I trust you have a carbon helmet and gloves\ boots with carbonio inserts. ��

I can't really comment as I have a nasty case of Daineseitis...

I turned the old indicator mounts around and fitted a spacer so I can still mount the screen if I want. It all fits, just, and look really tidy.

New indicators are Oberon-nomnom, bought off bigredduke, simple to fit and very bright. And made in Blighty!

Often thought that if I had a carbon airbox, I wouldn't have to look at all that ribbed plastic..
