Member status?

What's the significance of the range of membership status that I see listed against user IDs: eg Registered, Junior, Gold, etc??

registered user > either not owning a monster or not resident in the UK.
UKMOC Member > resident in the UK and owns a Monster
Gold member etc > depends on your post count

So how come Martin C lives in Burton on Trent and has a M900 but is only a registered user?
