What temperature s4r?

I have a 2004 monster s4r which tends to run at approx 65 deg c water temp, this seems a bit low or is it ok

those are oil temperatures, a water cooled bike should never exceed 100c, 65c sound a bit low but not having owned an S4* I'm not sure what the normal range is

Above 70 usually, depends on ambient temperature and speed but usually mine is somewhere between70-80C , higher if in traffic 90. 65 does seem a little low.

Does sound cool to me - my monster is an S2R so aircooled, but I have a 999 and that typically runs at nearer 80 deg c - it heats up bloody quickly if stuck in traffic too!
The fans make a lot of noise, so you would be aware of them if they were running all the time.

I am assuming that like most liquid cooling systems a Ducati will have a thermostat in the there somewhere?

Bet it's stuck open..

Mr Gazza has a point, sounds like the thermostat is stuck.
