Custom 1997 M750!
After 2 years I have finally put this bike back together, it's cost me a fortune and is nearly complete, I will be putting the finishing touches to it in the next couple of weeks. I will probably continue modifying it as I cannot resist.
Any thoughts or ideas you might have for me will be much appreciated. Here's a picture of when I bought it. Here's after... Last edited by AshM750; 18-04-2017 at 07:18 PM.. |

If it gets the thumb/finger up from Ped then its good enough for me. Any Monster with clip on's is good in my mind. They suit the aggresive stance and you can certainly see where the extra money went, that paint, those yokes, that dash! Needs more sexy carbon fibre though!

Thanks everyone, I was suppose to get carbs and wheels upgraded next but I ended up with a baby on the way so I have to save some funds for now. The Carbon idea is a nice touch, I might look into it. Couple of week and it will be MOTed ready for summer riding.

Great paint job, the strips really set off the bike.

Very pretty
On a technical point owls are no substitute for wheelie bins

I agree about the owls.
That looks very tidy, loving the look. What clocks are you running? Yorkie

Noice, love how big / clean the front wheel looks with only one disk (although not my cup of char as I don't like Monsters with clip-ons and I'd try to loose the stripes on the seat. ...)
Apart from that, chain guard, number plate (and some baffles) for the MoT and away you go What's the sticker on the fork legs? Progressive ? Maxton? Can't tell

Thanks for the tips The seat cover has strips on it, I did look at getting a Sargent Seat.
The fork where upgraded by Maxton, they put the stickers on, I have just left them on. |
