ironically it costs more to deliver a second class item. once you’ve set up a system that achieves reliable next day delivery, second class means you have to maintain a storage facility to delay items you make less money on.

Thanks for the compliments Crust.

Lodger, you have a pm.

I've often thought it's more trouble to hold the second class mail back, but then it probably takes second place if there is a lot of mail, when first class would get priority?
Anyway I think second class rocks..

Mr G

Arrived lunchtime today. Well packed , as in pass the parcel for adults. Added bonus of a bit of wood that will come in handy !

Looks very well made . Ace welding for sure.

Thanks for getting it made.

Cheers
Nigel

Good news Nigel. The wood is to try and stop the brackets getting bent if the parcel gets crushed, and to stop them bursting out too.

The way the mesh is welded onto the frame is something special. I think they use a roller electrode? Each wire of the mesh is fused to the frame, then the surplus wire is neatly ground off, or sanded I would imagine.
I can't help admire folks who are good at what they do.

Glad it reached you okay without getting snagged up in customs, just a week to travel less distance than to Scotland too!

Thanks for the compliments, they're a bit tricky to wrap up with the sharp brackets poking out, hence the bit of wood.
Are you going to paint yours Yellow?
