Albie - superstar!

It's here! (Well, for subscribers anyway). This month's Practical Sportsbikes has an excellent 10 page feature on Albie's bike.

Should be on the shelves from 16 May.

A nice action shot on p.36 - and it shows off your Agip sticker on the clutch side too! Did PS give you any prints from the photo shoot? That picture on p.42 would make a great poster...

I was basically suprised I never got a heads up pre print. I will get a couple of copies extra but hoping at least they get a few more copies sold this month.
Apparently when I was talking to Jason he will give me all the images in hd so I guess I need to contact him and also thank Jonathan and Jim Moore for the great feature. I feel very honoured tbh and that's exactly why I want a good poster.

I received mine on Saturday. I am trying to save it for my holiday next week, but the cover keeps tempting me

The Fortune bit might not be far off if you'd consider letting it go.

I've had a couple of bikes featured in Streetfighters in the distant past, and both times I had offers to buy it come to me via the magazine.

Amen to that - you don't want to restore it yet again any time soon.

Don't need to change the stand: just change the pivot bolt for one without the central boss and the spring plate slides across the top of it. That way there's no fulcrum for the spring to pull the stand up, it just helps lock it in place. You have to push the stand back a couple of inches quite hard against the spring before it over centres the spring and then pulls up.

Really pleased for you Albie as I know how hard you worked on it. I remember when mine came out - it was like Xmas lol. Now do me a favour and promise never to park it next to mine as you’ll make it look properly crap lol !!
