Bar risers for 1100 Evo
I just wonder if anyone has bar risers for an 1100 Evo they want to sell before I go ahead and buy some?

While I can't help with second hand risers, Omar, I can recommend the CNC Racing ones that I have fitted to my Evo.
I have the highest of their three options, which works out at about 7mm above stock and there's no need to lengthen the hoses or cables to fit them. With any new risers, check that the bars/switches don't hit the tank at full lock and adjust your lockstops to suit. This is from http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/s...ad.php?t=55168 which you may find helpful. Quote:

Thanks
Thanks yet again Luddite. A search only identified black ones at €113!
https://www.cncracing.com/en/product...ght-48-mm.html I will look around next week to check out the choices. |

You might find this method of tightening the risers useful, Omar.
http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/s...19&postcount=2 By the way, Starship Moto are still advertising the titanium finish for €135. https://www.starshop-moto.com/risers...g-dia-286.html I don't know whether they still ship to the UK or what the cost would be. |

I have the Slingshot Racing bar riser on my Evo. Please note that the photos show the riser upside down compared to its fitted position, you have to look carefully to see what is concave and what is convex. Also the description should read raises bar 'by' 1.5 inches not 'to' 1.5 inches. Also again the cables will be quite a tight fit and you will need to do a bit of careful arranging to get them right, but its not too difficult. Nice and shiny reflection in your dash is a free bonus, I added some black tape to mine.

As an afterthought, the Slingshot solution is a bit clunky looking and an obvious addition to the standard setup, so will do nothing for the looks of the bike, but it is probably one of the tallest solutions. I have got used to the looks and am not so constantly offended anymore!

Thanks for the replies.
Digging around google, it also seems you can change the bars to Rizoma MA005's for a similar effect? |
