Wdw 2014
Hi,
I'm thinking about flying over on Thursday 17th - Sun 20th, anybody know of decent hotels near where it's all happening, I'll probably hire a car while I'm there. I've never been before and can't really have the amount of holiday required to take the bike over. Anybody's advise in this matter would be much appreciated, Thanks Wendy |

Hi Wendy,
We stayed in Cattolica last time - the other resorts nearby are Rimini and Riccione. Have you seen Pompone's earlier thread about WDW? http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/s...ad.php?t=48645 He was thinking about organising a kind of "fly-ride" package where he'd take your bike over in a van (so you wouldn't have to hire a car), and possibly have a villa or hotel booked for a group of Monsteristi. Not sure how far advanced his plans are, but might be worth dropping him a PM. I'll be riding down myself, taking my time on the way there and back, and hoping to meet up with Monsteristi down there. A bit cheeky, but there are a couple of threads on another forum about WDW (http://ducatiforum.co.uk/f96/so-whos...r-plans-18146/), including what it involves, and a few folks saying what hotels they've booked. No idea about good hotels - I've provisionally booked somewhere in Cattolica as a back up plan just in case Pompone's plans for an UKMOC group trip don't work out. |

I had PM Pompone about it in Dec, but never heard back, Also emailed Capo, with no reply . Would be ideal to stay in a villa with other people . I've got lots of other stuff going on this year, so 4 days holiday is about it for me

Please check WDW 2014 thread.
http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/s...ad.php?t=48645 We're good to go!! Hi everyone, for those that have expressed interest I can confirm accommodation has been found (this was not mean task itself, trust me!!) So please anyone who has expressed interest in the fly and ride packages please put their names down so I can organise for deposits from you so I can firmly book numbers for the B&B by MONDAY 10th February. Depending on numbers confirmed the B&B location would be confirmed. Once this is sorted I will be in a position to offer accommodation to other members travelling down. Cheers, Max

I'd ideally like to stay with a whole heap of UK monster owners, but time restraints will mean I fly in on Thursday and depart Sunday, but please let me know if you have space at the B and B. The one I've booked has free cancellation so can easily change it
Thanks Wendy |
