Hi..

Much as I personally find this section a bit [url=httpuking-smiley][img] thought I better conform now.. I have been lurking for many years but having only owned half a 600 Monster I wasn't sure I qualified propurly. Just got an early 900 so etc. I already know you are a friendly bunch having read many posts and exchanged p.m.s with several members (nearly bought an M900 about 3 years ago).
Looking forward to meeting up, particularly on a Monster.

Welcome to the club.
As well as activities in your area, we have a national weekended in May, a trip to Belgium in Sept.
Some of us are going down to Misano in June for WDW.

Guildfords probably not a bad base for monster goings on, just need some decent weather now

So which half did you have?? Front back, left right or top bottom??

Is this you coming out Sirc You never mentioned the 900 last w/e @ Box Hill...

Good to know you've seen the light & no more 'lurking'. Welcome aboard - officially.

Not sure Elefant's qualify as a Monster, so great to hear you're added to your stable...

If the weather plays ball, I'll be aiming to go to Fatboy's in London on the 7th Jan, then Mickey's on the 8th Jan. Be happy for you to ride along for either/both & it'll be a great start to 2012.

Let us know if you'd like to meet up - perhaps Pease Pottage?

Quirky how 1st Sat falls next to 2nd Sun, but it'll be like a mini-weekender

You just need an avatar now

Hi Nick It was/is less tank/seat/instruments/headlamp/locks and now carbs (nicked them for an other Ducati) plus it had piston slap on front cylinder - but they came from the factory like that didn't they? The bike was/is truly timewarp apart from this so remainder will come in useful for 900 which is a bit of a mess re: loom/ancilliaries etc also needs attention to rear cylinder sadly.

Hi Alt, we can talk closer to time but provisionally sounds good and I'll definitely be out and about in the next two weeks - can't wait for those magic days when there's hardly a car on the road

Hi R.D. and Thank you all for the welcome - I haven't ruled out Misano - it's a health thing with me, but would be great. Still, need to fix bike first.. I haven't removed head to find out how bad the bad news is, but it's at least a set of rings but wouldn't be surprised if it's a barrel and a piston.

As it's my last chance this year for a bit of merriment Alt, A/ Have had two Monsters in the last 3 years apart from the recent 'propah' 900 Monster as it appens - where's your's? and B/ Take a look at our respective join dates and weep junior.. All completely innocent fun of course Happy New Year

the very same Grumpy - a '95 E750. Also have an older 650. You won't regret it - they are brilliant and underrated bikes and the 750 is the best choice overall.
