That's the most interesting café racer Monster I have seen for a while....You've dared to be different..

Never seen a front fairing like that. Have you made it? Does it get hot?

Still don't like the trumpetty silencers, but they are mounted much better now and the bike looks all of a piece....Easy on the eye...Well done...

Yea, gotta agree with Gazza a very nice cafe look the silencers look better but not great (maybe too modern) need some reverse megas or something more retro. I'm loving the lower fairing and seat unit too, sport classic and very cool.

Many thanks for the kind words,the fairing so far has not caused any problems with overheating as there is a huge grill behind the front wheel,the kit was bought from a specialist.

Agree that the pipes are a little modern looking but the sound out of them is just amazing !!!

The only thing left to do is get either a red or black clutch cover as I'm not sold on the brass coloured one if I'm honest !

Since you pointed it out I guess the clutch cover is a tiny bum note in the symphony..Nothing a few seconds with a rattle can wouldn't sort..

The silencers are growing on me though...

Yep that looks sweet, I agree that maybe a pair of classic reverse cones might suit the look a little better but it works as is.

I think it is going to get bloody hot though- even on my 900 with a DP full length belly pan the front pipe will glow red hot if left idling for too long.

Might be worth a before and after test with some of these:

I'd like to see that in the flesh because, in the photo, I like it a lot.
And I like it just the way it is.
The cans are fine ... rather nice in fact.
Don't change them just to follow a "retro" theme .. your theme is much more individual and original, despite its retro undertones.
And the bronze clutch cover .. love that .. I'd be looking for a matching billet sprocket cover to bring the other side into balance.
And the lower fairing/screen combo is sweet.
