No clutch adjustment i'm afraid. Check there is free play in the clutch lever, failing that it sounds like a new set of plates is needed. Straight forward job as the 900 has a dry clutch so you should only need m6 allen wrench to remove the cover and a m5 allen wrench to remove the 6 spring retainer bolts.

If you give a dry clutch enough abuse then expect around 4k and it will need replacing. Treat it well and you can get big milage out of one, my 748 has 21k from new on the original dry clutch.

Looking after the clutch....

I just had the plates and basket replaced after 13,000 miles, both were pretty worn but I would appreciate any tips on how to get the most out of it. |

Just changed mine at about 15,000.
it didn't slip at high revs, just when pulling away a bit quicker than normal Think the plates were about £140 from Moto Rapido
