Swindon

Hey chaps

Spotted a gloss black monnie with a bronze (I think) frame on the Oxford road on Monday when out touring (article to follow). The rider was wearing a red graphic helmet and non biker clothes (of what I can remember).

Anyone want to own up

Just kept a low profile!

Now living in a village on the edge of Salisbury plain, we can hear the guns at the Larkhill ranges and have been overflown but half a dozen Chinooks and two Apache gunships in the last few days!

Who said the countryside was quiet?

Anyone see the Avro Vulcan flying over Wiltshire on Thursday?

Yeah i saw it between 1700, i was travelling down the A417/A419 it was travelling towards Fairford/Brize Norton direction, and was at low level.

When i did my basic Para jumps at Brize in the early 90's our basha's were at the side of the runway and on Sundays it was low level passes for jets!!! Got rudely awoken by low level flying of the Vulcan, it nearly shook the tin hut down!!!

Its an impresive sight seen it a few times this year when i've been at the outlaws place near Lyneham i think it uses the bases round here as staging for airshows..............proper ground shaker!!
