11 Years and counting!

Well doesn't time fly. Today, eleven years ago I picked up my 900 from Moto Rapido and started the slippery slope of monster ownership. A month later I found this club and spent many a Sunday hooning round Hampshire, Sussex and other places with a great bunch of like minded souls. I think it's fair to say that the monster changed my life for the better!

With a little luck the 900 will be up and running today after snoozing for the better part of six and a bit years. In that time the 1000DS took the place of main bike but I never really got attached to that like I have the 900, I'm really looking forward to getting out and about on it this year.

So here's to 11 years and many more (never selling!) and to all the good friends I have in the ukmoc!

Will add some pics later when it's back in one piece!

Happy anniversary to you both.
Let me see....11yrs.....is that the "titanium" anniversary ?

I'm 7.5yrs down the road with my 750 so far, and that's not going anywhere either.

Wikki suggests the 11th is Steel celebrated with Fashion jewelry and accessories
So I have just given mine rear Allycators (to match the front ones), an anodised Renthal rear Sprocket, new grips and a fancy Green Filter Crankcase breather box filter

Nat;

"Haven't tried a 900 yet"

Ped (stuffing ice cream down his greogory with everyone else on the seafront)

"Take mine out for a quick spin if you want mate while I finish my ice cream"

Nat;

"Thanks mate"

>>>>>>>>>

barrrrppp barrrrpppp.....

"Cue Pedro being all sweary and waving arms as his pride and joy comes past on the back wheel..

Yeah, there's always one tw@t who can't help himself isn't there....

Anyway I missed a few gears on your S4R and bounced it off the limiter a few times so all's fair!!

Just got to tax it and I'm ready!

I'd forgotten how different carbie bikes are compared to FI bikes. The 1000DS was pretty smooth around town etc, the 900 is proper grumbly around town! Much better on the open road.

Doubt I'll have time to make Bristol.

You finished with my clutch tool yet? My shed is in need of KC supplies!!
