Gear linkage

Guys can I ask a favour!

Can somebody with an evo take a pic of the gear shift rod from the top down to check if it runs at an angle in wards.

Also does the part that connects to the splines have the smooth part to the back or front and as such causes the captive nut to be at the front?

Thanks again guys
