Hello everybody

I got my first monster 2 1/2 years ago after looking for an original early'ish bike for a while, I ended up with a 96 900 with only one owner and 5000 miles on the clock.
So I thought it was time to join the forum after watching things from the side line for quite a while.

Welcome to the forum Dave.
The 900's have become very popular in the last year for owners picking up some of the more original bikes. Fantastic low miles too. Have fun.

Welcome along for real this time then. I had a 97 to start and now I return with a 94 registered 93 bike. Nearly went to most modern but happy to get the best model out there it seems.
Good low miles but don't be afraid to put some on it.

Hello and welcome.

If you feel like a ride out any time, we have one or two meets in Norfolk throughout the year.

There is a big one not far from you next weekend at Wimbotsham....You must have heard of that one?

In a couple of weeks there is another Great UKMOC Teddy Bears Picnic, in the woods at Mildenhal. A good place to meet Monster owners from far and wide.

See you around...I will be in touch..

Thanks for the welcome chaps, not having a lot of luck with adding a picture, will have to get my daughter to help.
I've added about 1500 miles since I've had it, mainly riding fairly local, I have a job to get my mates who have bikes to come out to play.
I plan to be at Wimbotsham, all being well.

You need to upload your pictures to an external web host...I use this one but there are others.

http://tinypic.com/

Once you have uploaded it to tinypic at emailing size just copy and paste the line in the box "For forums and message boards"....Get the whole line including the bracketed IMG at each end. Your image will appear in your post where ever you paste the line..

A chap in Sutton Coalfield bought it new and bought a 3 wheel scorpion at the same time but ended up using the scorpion most of the time. The monster got stood up for a few years with 2.5k on the dial then he had it recommissioned in 2007 putting the other 2.5k on it in a couple of years, including a trip to Spain, then standing it up again until he put it on ebay in 2013. After having a quick chat with him I pressed the buy in now button without seeing it and it turned out to be as good as he had said.

That bike is sooo right.!

Looks identical to my first Monster...A '98 M900 only three years old when I bought it....I got an immense amount of pleasure from that bike... I wish you the same.
