New S4 owner.
Hi All,
Just made my mind up to chop in my Multi and have decided on an S4 Challenge. The bike has only done 3k, but may have done several laps of UK circuits at a vast rate of knots! Having said that it rides very well and looks in very good nick. I will post some pics up when I get the bike back home. It is in for a service and a new rear tyre before I take the Numpty up to the dealer along with some cash to complete the deal on the p/x. I will be along to pick your brains later!! Did you get all the bits with it mate (rad rails, carbon front and rear track kit). swingarm should be pre drilled for lock wire too I think Sent you a PM by the way.. Nat Last edited by NattyBoy; 25-07-2008 at 03:03 PM.. |

Nat,
You are spot on, the swing arm is drilled and lock wired. Dunno about the front and rear track kit, it was not mentioned in the sale. Rad rails.....are these an engine bar? Cheers for the PM, I have replied. I collect the bike on the 9th August, my Multi is now fettled waiting to be P/Xd and sat in my garage.....sun beating down here in sunny Shropshire and I am not going to be tempted to ride the Multi......I don't want to tempt fate! Sounds legit then ! But you really need to chase them on the carbon gear as this is a fundamental part of the bike ! Yep - engine rails - thats what I meant.
Heres a pic of my S4 challenge kit so you can speak to woods.. Heres a link to a news article for your interest ! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/moto...es/1778294.stm Welcome to the monster fold - best fun bike you'll ever own - and wont make you sore like a 996 ;>) |

Just called Woods, the race kit is not with the bike.... not wishing to presume, but it may have been sold by one of the 2 previous owners :-(
Never mind eh? |
