Monster 900 Headlight fairing belt covers

Anyone got a headlight fairing for sale? Prefer the one with a small screen, but consider one without...

Also looking for some cam belt covers for the 1998 900... will 600 fit?

Sorry Buzzer, I don't have anything you need, but can confirm 600 belt covers will not fit a 900 engine.

Thanks, will look for 900 ones! Do you know if any other model covers fit? Even if they look different....

Indeed, the 600 and 750 have shorter barrels to suit the shorter crank stroke, so the cams are closer to the crank by the same amount.

I had a set of DP covers on my 900 i.e. (969113AAA). Out of curiosity, I checked on the Stein-Dinse website and a new set is still listed at €269.

There's also a new set in Italy for about €140. It's an Italy only listing but worth a message to see if they'd post to the UK.

"Ciao!

Vorrei comprare questo articolo. Puo inviarlo nel Regno Unito per favore? In tal caso, quanto costerebbero le spedizione?

Molte Grazie."

I did that for a DP mudguard I got from Ducati Milano last year. That was also an Italy only listing but, after my message, they revised the eBay listing by increasing the list price to include UK postage. (From memory, I think it was about €15.)

Do you need the whole set or just bits of?

And are you looking for immaculate as new for a restoration, or just something to cover some belts on a bike that's used in all weathers?

I do have some spare bits, but all are used.

I have a red one from a later ie bike going spare, but it wouldn't be period correct for a '98 bike and may not be a direct fit as they bolt to the headlamp bracket directly. Screen has some marks which may polish out, otherwise appears in reasonably good condition. Let me know if any good?

I've got a set like that - without any spacers/support around the bolt holes.

Took some fettling (making of spacers and glueing in place) to make them properly usable...

I have just replaced my front fairing with a fiberglass genuine (apparantly) to match mudguards and trim etc.
So now have a Black short lense with all fittings.
Actually far better build quality than the genuine one.

Can send some pics and more info if you supply your Email address - can't seem to load pics on to this site (age thing)!

Perhaps a personal mail address will work!

You can put pictures on a PM in exactly the same way as posting them on a thread, via a web host such as Postimage or imgBB.
