Man alive, I can see a few people not liking Rossi's bike at all, the man is a genius and I love the fact he's gone to Ducati, I've also got one of his AGV design lids but that flourescent colour on that bike is giving me a nervous twitch, it just doesn't go.

Do you think we'll see people copying the design and having flourescent seat covers and side panels on their Monsters!

I'd like to have seen them riding those bikes on the snow, that is something some of us have had practice at this and last year.

Well not me... I may like bright colours - i.e. yellow bike - but even so, day-glo yellow and red? oooh Yikes!!

Might even have to watch the MotoGp in B+W... with sunglasses on...

BTW, I think you mean 'fluorescent' (sorry, naturally pedantic etc...)

Red / yellow / black - errrrr... tasty.

The chap is obviously a closet Partick Thistle supporter with that colour scheme........

No doubt replica leathers with obligatary beer belly contouring will be spotted on Sunday ride outs this summer..........

To me it reminds me of the late 80's/ early 90's paint jobs, like those seen on the Mclaren's F1 cars of yester years. It appears there trying to use the old style Marlboro logo we used to see when Mclaren ran the cars in white/ an orangy red colour. Instead of the word 'Marlboro' name in the white section it now has Ducati instead, with a miniture white stripe running above. Admittedly Haydens bike looks the better of the 2, but the flourescent yellow is now part of Rossi's signature colours & life ain't it....

Maybe this is trying to assist the commentators when mentioning who is on track and who isn't ???
How many times do comentators get the rider wrong if he crashes ??

Anyway a new era in DUcati's history means another new paint job....

A bad case of "the doctor's new clothes", I think.
Would've been better running Rossi on a yellow/white/black bike ...everything else in both teams still red. (Burgess could have toyed with a yellow tie, or sunglasses, maybe).
Much better for merchandising too, and paves the way nicely for a lemon yellow 848 etc.
That colour mix is just nauseous.
Maybe its a tactic..Imagine the scene, towards the end of a long hot race, salt lake city for example, you're already feeling a bit queasy from heat exhaustion and you've got to look at THAT !!!!
It might just work on Casey.
The red is ok, though its never been my favourite colour in large doses.
And it does all look a bit 'Marlbrough'. Has done for years, actually.

Looks like a souvenir doll that should be in a box- oh well at least you could stick pins in it , plus you could maybe buy some new outfits for it and mix and match them up a bit
